Studio optreind converts a conceptual idea into a graphical visual language of, among other things, educational material, house styles, printed matter, album covers and logos. Studio optakeld also profiles itself on the freelance website Hoofdgoot.nl and is available for graphic assignments and illustrative work on a freelance basis. Studio optakeld is the graphic design agency of Rubens Ruimte. This is where, among other things, the creative projects that arise from Rubens Ruimte and Spacebar are designed.

Nice and quick to work with Ruben. We asked Ruben to make a number of designs for a logo based on a detailed briefing. Ruben interpreted the brief excellently and translated it into colours, a style and various logos. Also able to switch quickly with small adjustments. Everything nice and concrete and decisive. For a Goverment department we developed; 'BABS' which stands for 'Be Aware Be Secure'. A program of the department to inform employees of safety hazards associated with the work to be performed. Based on an original hand-drawn caricature, we have given BABS a new and fresh look. The hedgehog stands for reliability, which raises its quills as soon as there is danger. BABS has its own 'alarm cap' that goes off in case of danger, BABS itself does not always realize when that is the case and can therefore question the viewer in a fun way. Every year a number of posters are developed where BABS can be seen in a playful way, in addition to other promotional means such as stickers and a logo. Striking colors have been chosen with a clear and stylized design language so that the message that BABS conveys comes across clearly.

Ruben has renewed an existing figure for our organization. Ruben did this with a lot of creativity, flexibility and enthusiasm. Ruben keeps to the agreements made, delivers his products on time and shows his own initiative, which is highly appreciated by our team.
